Italy Series: Venice

As the summer heat is finally ending I thought it was appropriate to do a summer recap. I am calling this the Italy series.

If any of you follow me on Instagram, then you know I did some traveling this summer. The first city that I visited was Venice. This floating wonder is truly beautiful. Full of high fashion, magnificent architecture, and not to mention pristine food. There is not one thing there isn't to like. From the moment you are taken in your water taxi to your hotel, to when you leave, you will be in awe the whole time. Here are my recommendations for Venice

Recommendations:
  • Learn how to row a gondola, aka the only way to get around the canals of Venice
  • Ride in a gondola through the Grand Canal
  • Explore the different neighborhoods and unique shops of the city(the farther away from the center of the city you go, the more authentic food and shops you will find)
  • Buy glass as it is what Venice is best known for

Where to eat:
  • Club del Doge Restaurant
  • Restaurant Terrazza Danieli
  • Antica Trattoria Poste Venice
